We offer two dedicated passport photo services for babies, infants, toddlers and preschool children, based on one simple distinction, whether your child can sit independently or needs to be photographed lying down. In both cases, the session is parent assisted to help keep your child calm, comfortable and secure, with additional time allowed so the process can unfold patiently and without pressure.
Toddlers are often the most challenging to photograph, as they are naturally more active, curious and unpredictable. To help capture their attention at the right moment, we use simple toys and gentle distractions throughout the session.
Younger babies are often quite straightforward, although achieving a correctly aligned image with eyes open can still require patience and careful timing. We recommend scheduling the appointment after your baby’s usual feed and sleep, when they are most likely to be settled, comfortable and alert.
For babies who are not yet sitting independently, we use a careful, parent assisted approach designed to keep your child secure and settled while preparing the image correctly for passport or visa use.

How do you photograph babies and kids?
Babies who can't yet support themselves are photographed lying down in a specially arranged lighting setup. If your baby can sit with your support, this option is favoured. Toddlers sitting independently are photographed upright
How much do passport & Visa photos cost?
Sessions start at $25 for a print-only service. Our most popular option "the print and digital file combo" is $55. Every session includes on-screen review and approval before we print. No surprises, no reprints to chase.
How long does an infant session take?
Allow at least 30 minutes. Because we work at your child's pace it takes a little longer. Occasionally we get it first go, sometimes it just takes a little patience.
What are the requirements for a baby passport photo?
Requirements vary by country. We confirm the correct specifications before we begin and prepare every image to match — Australian or international.
What if my child won't cooperate on the day?
It happens and we're prepared for it. We advise booking when your child is fed and well rested for best results. If it genuinely isn't the right day, we'll work with you to reschedule a better time.
Where is the studio and how do I Book?
We're at Suite 11, 12–18 Bayview Street, Runaway Bay. Sessions are by appointment. Book online with the scheduler or call the studio if you have any questions.
